An ideal package for the modification at MTM: the compact Golf 6 plus. MTM also offers modification kits for the Golf 6 plus model-series with different performance variations. Especially the turbo-diesel engines are one of MTM's favourites. For the 2,0 l TDI with 140 hp (103kW) the MTM-engine electronic will bring the power up to 170 hp (125kW). The torque of 385 Nm will convince. Aswell as the modification kit MTM offers for the Golf 6 plus: 18 and 19''- Alloy-wheels, performance breaks and improvments to the suspension of the car , all individually designed for this model-series by MTM.

MTM Engine modifications

The spectrum of our tuning modifications and performance kits for the VW Golf 6 plus range from optimized reprogramming of the control electronics through to the complete conversion of the engine unit. Every VW Golf 6 plus engine modification and performance kit has been developed by mtm and thoroughly tested for reliability in road and racing use. Because of the higher peak torque the fuel consumption can be reduced by up to 5 - 20 percent. The engine tuning does not have an negative effect on engine durability. After a performance upgrade petrol engines need min. 98 octane super plus petrol (diesel engines: no biodiesel).
