The MTM modification options for the new compact 4x4 Volkswagen unveils the exciting wild side and delights of the Tiguan experience. Included in the MTM product range for the Tiguan is MTM's m- cantronic performance modification in addition to options for the vehicles exhaust system, suspensions settings and brake system. The MTM options also include the prominent 9-spoke bimoto performance alloy rims, specially designed by MTM for the models from the VW group, which offer an appealing visual enhancement and underlines the sporty character of the Tiguan, and with their higher load bearing capacity are particularly suited to the Tiguan.

MTM Engine modifications

The spectrum of our tuning modifications and performance kits for the VW Tiguan range from optimized reprogramming of the control electronics through to the complete conversion of the engine unit. Every VW Tiguan engine modification and performance kit has been developed by mtm and thoroughly tested for reliability in road and racing use. Because of the higher peak torque the fuel consumption can be reduced by up to 5 - 20 percent. The engine tuning does not have an negative effect on engine durability. After a performance upgrade petrol engines need min. 98 octane super plus petrol (diesel engines: no biodiesel).
