Trick fountains in the Ardennes
Thomas Schöffler is eighteen and fast enough to compete with the old hands of the hp establishment.
This he proved in both runs of the 6th meeting of the SuperStars Series in Spa: ninth after the qualifying, seventh in the twelfth run of the Series. The second race he started from first row, trying to avoid collisions by driving safely but in the long run a noisy gear drive stopped his speed. The Audi Italia pit team gave the stage direction which no one really likes “Go Slow and Safe!”
“I’m content with our first motorsport engagement. The MTM RS5 is running very good and Thomas is getting better and better from race to race” stated Roland Mayer, CEO of the car manufacturer from Wettstetten MTM. In the overall standing Thomas Schöffler places among the top 10 after 12 races.
Audi Italia says good-bye from the Belgian race track with arms full of cups:
Double win in the first race – Morbidelli in front of Kristoffersson and also in the second race Morbidelli stood up with his Audi RS5 to Liuzzu.
The next race of the SuperStars Series will take place on the 15./16th September 2012.
